Plans before the final crit today

After deliberation and testing with a large speaker and practicing the idea of performing live for a group of people, I decided that an individual experience with headphones was the best option. I finalised a sound piece with fragments of things I noticed read aloud, mixed with the sounds of birds and water from a quiet moment I had myself, as well as the composed bench music I made.

I aim to try to get people to scan a qr code and tell them to listen with headphones to the piece when they have a quiet moment to themselves. I will get feedback today.

i have been listening to my piece on my journey into Kingston today. I listened to it walking down the street, on the bus and the train. I like the interference of the background noises of engines and muffled talking, birds, wind etc.

I am a bit worried that it makes us notice less about the present world around us
