Participation, documents of contemporary art by Claire bishop

I was leant this book of participatory art in the contemporary art world in the form of essays (tough!!!) by my tutor Claire. I hope to extract some information to help inform my final piece, in the hope of bringing a performance element. By seeing how other artists have used participation and changing my original assumption of what ”participation” may be, I hope to be able to understand and include this to create a more immersive experience for my audience. So that it resonates with them in a greater way. who knows ? I will find out
